Amalienborg

The Danish Royal Family residence. The guard march from Rosenborg Castle at 11.30 am daily through the streets of Copenhagen and execute the changing of the guard in front of Amalienborg at noon. In addition, post replacement is conducted every two hours.

Tivoli

Tivoli is an amusement park right in the heart of Copenhagen. It is the third-oldest operating amusement park in the world. You visit the Gardens, enjoy the rides, listen to concerts or visit its restaurants!

Den lille Havfrue

The Little Mermaid statue by Edvard Eriksen. In recent decades it has been a popular target for vandals and political activists.

Nyhavn

You can't miss the colorful houses of Nyhavn. Walk from Kongens Nytorv square to the main canal from where you can see the Royal Danish Playhouse and the Operæn building.

Botanisk Have

If you are looking for a green space to breathe, in Copenhagen you can find many. This is one of them, with beautiful and rare plants it is part of the Natural History Museum of Denmark. It is particularly noted for its historical glasshouses dating from 1874.

HOW TO MOVE AROUND

Copenhagen is well known for having sustainable ways to move around the city. All buses are changing from diesel to electric, electric cars are available to move around, while more and more roads are made for cycling (55% of Copenhageners commute to work by bicycle!). Here are some of your options: Metro, bus, and S-train - Buy your individual tickets or use the Rejsekort, the travel card (you can buy it and reload it at any station). Here you can find the maps of the public transport in Copenhagen. Rental bikes: Bikes are the most authentic way to enjoy the city. Meatpacking District. (Kødbyen) Originally the home of meat businesses in Copenhagen, it has now been converted into a creative place where you can find cool places to eat, drink, and party. 

Vesterbro District. Once popular as the red-light district of Copenhagen, Vesterbro is so much more! The popular neighborhood is authentic and modern, both for family plans and nightlife fun. Some of the tops restaurants and bars: Madklubben, Ja Ikazaya bar, Kihoshk, Les Tres Cochons, Cofoco
