We highly recommend you Installing the following apps
WeChat: To facilitate communication during the event, we highly recommend installing WeChat. You can download it for iOS or Android. We'll be using WeChat for group messages and important updates. It is important that you download WeChat in advance and ensure it works before coming to China.
Alipay or WeChat Pay: They are very useful facilitate payments as cash or cards are rarely accepted.
WhatsApp Group
We have also created a WhatsApp group as a backup communication channel. It will only work if you install a VPN.

VPN and Internet access
We recommend installing a VPN before coming to China. That will ensure that you access your everyday online services. It is important you install it before coming to China. We recommend NorthVPN.
Nevertheless, downloading a VPN will not ensure access to Google, Whatsapp, etc. That is why we recommend you download all essential files to your computer before going in case your VPN does not work.
We suggest that you use a roaming internet e-Sim or your home mobile network’s roaming data.

PRESENT YOUR COMPANY
Please send to maria.moiseeva@globalstartupawards.com 5 minute long presentation of your company and get ready to give a short speech about it. We will need to prepare Chinese captions for the presentation, so please share it with me at your earliest convenience.
When preparing your presentation, tailor your emphasis based on your specific goals. If your objective is to attract investors, center your discussion on investment prospects or engage with potential manufacturers. On the other side, if your aim is to showcase your company's product, direct attention towards highlighting your team's capabilities and conveying a compelling vision for the product's future.
Remember it is a PP presentation, not a video presentation. It will be investors and professionals who will be looking for operations.
